THE WHO

Alastair Graham and Algy Williams, the two surviving members of the original Drowned God team, are working with The Harry Horse Estate, managed by his two sisters, Emma and Kay, along with Next Path Media, to relaunch the game.

The late Harry Horse, real name Richard George Anthony Horne (May 1960 - Jan 2007), was a British writer, cartoonist, illustrator and musician. Among his most notable works is the 1990s video game "Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages."
Harry's career as an illustrator began with projects like "Magus the Lollipop Man" and continued with works for well-known authors and books . His writing, including "The Last Polar Bears," has been widely recognized. Harry was also a political cartoonist for major UK newspapers.

His work on Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages remains a significant part of his legacy, a game inspired by Diary of a Plagiarist, his fictional manuscript that showcases his many creative talents.

His career in animation began in 1970 as an apprentice animator, then as character and background designer. He became an illustrator in 1976, first in advertising, then in children’s books. He wrote and illustrated the best-selling “Full Moon Soup” which appeared in 1993.
His book of drawings “Impressions: Jazz Masters in Black and White” was published in 2000, and his award-winning animated short “Suba”, a tribute to the Serbian musician Mitar Subotic, was made in 2003. 2023 saw three commissions for LP/CD covers completed.

In 2017, his Fine Art career as a digital printmaker took off, and his work is in collections in North and South America, in France, Spain, the UK, and in Thailand.

Mike has over 30 years of experience in the video games industry with a career spanning Sega, Microsoft, THQ and Epic Games where he was Head of Unreal Engine licensing for EMEA and Head of Global Biz Dev for Epic Online Services.

Credited on over 40 titles so far, the first game Mike worked on was Drowned God, albeit very briefly in a pre-prod design capacity, so the re-release of Dgwoned God neatly ties up some unfinished business.
